How To Assemble Scuba Diving Gear - SDI Open Water Skills

In this video, we will walk you through every step to set up your scuba equipment like a seasoned professional.
1. Inspect scuba cylinder and make sure tank is within hydro/visual certification dates and is free from stress lines, bulges, or other obvious signs of abuse.
2. Attach BCD to cylinder and use your hand as a guide to estimate correct BCD height on tank.
3. Attach regulator to cylinder, inspect o-rings and regulators prior to attaching.
4. Connect low-pressure inflator to the power inflator.
5. Connect and configure weight system.
6. Turn on gas and test second stages.
7. Inflate BCD and test dump valves.
8. Enjoy your dive!
